Fourth quarter run too late for Blizzard

A tough start in Worcester, Massachusetts would spell a rough night for the Green Bay Blizzard in their 50-33 loss on Saturday. The Blizzard couldn’t get on the board in the first quarter, falling behind 9-0 to the Massachusetts Pirates. They got on the board in the second quarter, but trailed 20-7 at halftime. Massachusetts further separated in the third quarter when they took a 33-14 lead heading into the final frame. Green Bay awakened in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Pirates 19-17. It wouldn’t be enough however as the Blizzard fell by 17 points. The Blizzard now fall two games below .500 with just two games left in the season. The 5-7 Blizzard take on the Frisco Fighters on the road on Saturday, August 14th. The start time for that game is 7:05 PM.
