Booyah fall short in battle with Bombers

The Green Bay Booyah exchanged runs with the Battle Creek Bombers on Wednesday but ended on the losing side of the home matchup, 9-8. The Booyah even outhit Battle Creek, getting twelve hits compared to eleven by the Bombers. 

 

The Bombers were up 3-2 after the second inning but gave up four runs in the top of the third to go down 6-3. The Bombers climbed back to take the lead, scoring a run in both the fifth and sixth inning, and eventually scoring three in the bottom of the eighth. The Booyah were unable to close out the game, giving up a pair of runs in the top of the ninth. 

 

For the Booyah on Wednesday evening, Tristin Garcia had a home run and three RBI’s. The Booyah will take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at home, with first pitch being thrown at 6:35 PM.
