Brewers thumped by Braves

Like they’ve been doing for much of the season, the Milwaukee Brewers got an early lead on Saturday. This time however, it would not result in a win against the Atlanta Braves. Instead, the Brewers fell 8-1. Milwaukee’s second-inning run on a fielder’s choice hit by Manny Pina that scored Avisail Garcia was the only run they’d score all day. In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Braves tied the game. The Braves then scored two runs in the seventh and five in the eighth to put the game away. Milwaukee is now 62-43 on the season and will play Atlanta again on Sunday, with the first pitch being thrown at 12:20 PM.
