The Green Bay Gamblers Damien Carfagna is more than just a defenseman and potential NHL draft selection. The Wood Ridge, New Jersey native and University of New Hampshire commit is also a star student. Carfagna was named to the 2021 USHL All-Academic team for achieving a 3.91 GPA. Carfagna played 50 games in 2020, scoring 18 points on 12 goals and 6 assists. Carfagna is in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft pool and could be selected by an NHL organization on Saturday.
