Bucks, city to host celebration Thursday

The City of Milwaukee will salute its newly crowned NBA champion Bucks with a parade and celebration on Thursday.

 

The parade will begin at the intersection of E. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Prospect Ave. The parade will then proceed west on E. Wisconsin Ave. before turning north onto N. Water St. From there, the route will continue on N. Water St. to E. Knapp St. before ending on E. Knapp St. at the Milwaukee River. Members of the Bucks organization from the past and present will participate. 

 

The festivities will continue in the Deer District with a championship rally featuring members of the Bucks organization past and present, Governor Tony Evers and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. The stage will be set up in Block 6 of Deer District, which is located directly north of Fiserv Forum between Vel R. Phillips Ave. and Fifth St. Screens will be set up throughout the Deer District for those wishing to participate but can not get near the stage.
