The Green Bay Booyah looked bound for a comeback win on Tuesday against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, but were unable to hold on in the final inning. The game was tied at 2 runs each after the first inning. The Dock Spiders tacked on two runs in the second inning and another in the fourth to go up 5-2. Green Bay seized momentum in the top of the seventh inning when they scored four runs, and took a 6-5 lead.
Green Bay would be unable to close out the game, and gave up a run in the bottom of the ninth. Fond du Lac scored the winning run in the tenth. The Booyah ended the game with nine hits, including two-hit performances from Kaden Hollow and Elias Flowers.
The series between the Dock Spiders and the Booyah ended in a tie. The Booyah’s record in the second half of the season is now 5-3. The Booyah head to Wausau to face the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Wednesday with a start time of 12:05 PM.
