The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were able to stall out the last four innings of their 4-1 Thursday win over the Quad Cities River Bandits. Joe Gray Jr. ignited the scoreboard with a sac fly that brought home David Hamilton. Wisconsin gave up a solo home run in the top of the third inning which tied the game at 1 run.
The T-Rats got the run they were looking for when LG Castillo hit a two-run double, bringing across Joe Gray Jr. and Je’Von Ward. Hayden Cantrelle scored the fourth run for Wisconsin in the bottom of the fifth on a fielder’s choice when Ward grounded out.
With the win, Wisconsin is now 27-29 overall this season and will play Quad Cities on Friday at 7:05 PM.
