Crown and Sash Dash, Belgian Days Run set for weekend

Area runners will have their choice of races this weekend in Door and Kewaunee counties.

 

In Luxemburg, the Kewaunee County Fairest of the Fair program will be hosting its Crown and Sash Dash after taking the year off in 2020 due to the pandemic. Runners are encouraged but not required to wear their formal wear on the course the begins and ends at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds while also traveling on the Ahnapee Trail and through downtown Luxemburg.  The race begins at 8:30 a.m.

 

In Brussels, the Belgian Days Run/Walk will feature three different races beginning at 8 a.m. Organized by and benefiting the Brussels-Union EMRs, the event kicking off the 60th Belgian Days features a four-mile and two-mile race before giving way to a number of kids' races.  The route highlights Brussels locations such as the town park and St. Mary and St. Francis Church.

 

Both races will accept same-day registrations.
