In just one of the handful of Northwoods Leagues games that didn’t get postponed, the Green Bay Booyah got their third straight win, beating the Lakeshore Chinooks 8-0. Mykel Page pitched eight innings for Green Bay, and allowed just two hits and sat down three batters on strikes. Dalton Pearson and Ryan Brendan combined for nine of the Booyah’s sixteen hits. Pearson got the team’s two-bagger, and went a perfect 5-5 hitting the ball. Brendan had four singles in the contest, going 4-5 at the plate. With the win the Booyah improve to 1-0 in the new half of the season and are 14-22 overall. Their next game begins at 6:35 PM on the road against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
