Bucks fall in game four; Giannis exits

Only time will tell if the Milwaukee Bucks will get Giannis Antetokounmpo back before their season expires after he left an Eastern Conference Finals game four loss against the Atlanta Hawks with a hyperextended left knee. Antetokounmpo’s injury came at a time when Milwaukee was trying to cut down a double digit lead, down 62-52. The Hawks are without their star, Trae Young, due to a bone bruise on his right foot. That did not stop Atlanta from having a fast start, as they went to halftime up by thirteen points.

After Antetokounmpo’s injury, the Hawks went up by more than 20 points on their way to a 110-88 victory. Jrue Holiday ended up the Bucks leading scorer with 19 points and Khris Holiday followed with a 16 point performance. The Hawks burned the Bucks with a 21-point night from Lou Williams and a 20-point game from Bogdan Bogdanovic, who was headed to the Bucks in the off-season before a tampering violation negated the sign-and trade.

The series is now tied at two games apiece, and heads back to Milwaukee. Game five will start on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
