State's minor league teams could see financial impact

Wisconsin’s governor sent out a press release on Thursday detailing a $140 million plan to award grants to businesses and organizations in Wisconsin’s tourism and entertainment industries. Minor league sports were among the industries listed as eligible for aid. It was stated that $2.8 million in aid will be designated for minor league teams. Among other industries were live event venues and summer camps. It is unclear at this time who will benefit and how much, but time will tell which teams in the state Evers initiative applies to.
