Packers resign Jones

Aaron Jones is not leaving town after all thanks to a reported four-year deal agreed to on Sunday with the Green Bay Packers.

Jones signed a four-year, $48 million contract that included a $13 million signing bonus according to ESPN and PackersNews.com after the UTEP product tweeted that he was indeed coming back. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus told PackersNews.com that they had wanted bigger offers, but ultimately Jones wanted to return to the team that drafted him.

The move comes on the heels of several cost-cutting moves over the weekend to not only make room for more potential free agent signings but also to get under the salary cap floor of $182.5 million.
