When Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay face off on Thursday night for volleyball, both teams will be coming off of a loss. Sturgeon Bay has dropped their last two games, falling to both De Pere West and Green Bay Preble. Gibraltar lost a tight matchup with Kewaunee on Tuesday in four sets.  As far as common opponents go, both teams handily beat Green Bay West in three sets. Both teams are .500 as the Vikings are 1-1 and the Clippers are 2-2. 

The Clippers' loss against Green Bay Preble on Tuesday gave Preble their first win of the season. The Clippers lost set one 25-21 before winning set two 25-13. That was as good as the night got as the Clippers dropped sets three and four by scores of 25-14 and 25-21.

The Vikings' last outing against Kewaunee did give them close game experience as all four sets were tight. The Vikings won a set 30-28 but lost the others by scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-20. The match is set for 7:00 P.M.
