Gamblers begin weekend set against Phantoms on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers will have another long weekend at home as they begin a three-game set at the Resch Center against the Youngstown Phantoms.

The team capped off six games in 10 days stretch last weekend with three contests at the Resch Center, splitting a pair against Team USA before falling to Des Moines on Sunday. Gamblers head coach Pat Mikesch feels his squad were mentally exhausted towards the tail end of their game against the Buccanneers.

The Phantoms have gone 1-5-3-1 in their last 10 games as they sit in the bottom of the division. Mikesch says they are still a strong team.

The Gamblers will face off Friday and Saturday against the Phantoms at 7:05 p.m. followed by a Sunday matinee at 3:05 p.m. Tobin Meyer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com all three days.

You can catch our entire interview with Pat Mikesch on our Green Bay Gamblers Central Podcast channel at NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
