Playing in their third game of the weekend, the Green Bay Gamblers lost their Sunday matinee matchup against the Des Moines Buccanneers 3-2.
Camden Thiesing continued his strong weekend of play by scoring his 12th goal of the season in the final minute of the first period to give the Gamblers the 1-0 lead. The Bucs would knot things up at one when Scout Truman scored at the five-minute mark in the second period. The Gamblers came up on the wrong end of trading goals in the third period as a Jackson Kunz tally was in between a pair of Bucs scores in the first five minutes as the team fell for the second day in a row.
The Gamblers will play another three straight days this weekend at the Resch Center when they host the Youngstown Phantoms. All three games will be on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
