Gamblers earn comeback win in overtime

Jake Schmaltz's 11th goal of the year sent the Green Bay Gamblers east to Michigan on a winning note with a 4-3 overtime victory against Dubuque.

After a scoreless first period, the two teams jumped out to a two-goal lead with Ryan Kirwan and Jesse Tucker registering single tallies. After the Fighting Saints scored three straight goals to take the lead, Jackson Kunz scored in the final minutes to send the game into overtime. Schmaltz ended the game inside of the extra period's first 30 seconds.

The Gamblers will travel to Michigan to play two games against Team USA on Sunday and Monday.
