Gamblers start long stretch at Dubuque

The Green Bay Gamblers will start one of their busiest stretches of the season thus far when they play at the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday.

The Gamblers will play six games in 10 days beginning on Friday night. They will have a day off to travel to Michigan where they will make up two games against Team USA before welcoming them and the Des Moines Buccaneers to the Resch Center next weekend. Head coach Pat Mikesch says it is a long stretch but believes his team is up to the challenge.

The Fighting Saints have struggled to stay on the ice because of COVID-19 protocols, but Mikesch says they made improvements to slowly become one of the better teams in their division right now.

The puck drops between the Gamblers and the Fighting Saints at 7:05 p.m.
