Gamblers weekend stay in Muskegon continues after OT win

The Green Bay Gamblers got their three-game set against Muskegon off to a great start Thursday with a 4-3 win in overtime.

Each team scored single tallies in every period before Mason Lohrei scored the only goal in the shootout.  The Gamblers actually scored the first goal in each period with Jackson Kunz scoring in the first, Lohrei in the second, and Ryan Kirwan in the third. They were each matched by Lumberjacks goals by Bradley Marek, David Hymovitch and Quinn Hutson. Jake Schmaltz had two points for the Gamblers off of a pair of assists. Goalie Aaron Randazzo saved 40 of the 43 shots he faced.

The three-game set against Muskegon continues with games at 6:10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
