The Green Bay Gamblers second year defensemen and NHL draft pick in Mason Lohrei caught up with the New Radio Sports Network earlier this week. Lohrei, who leads the USHL in game winning goals spoke on what it means to be a Gambler and provided some insight on what his team looks to do in regards to the Friday night matchup against the Youngstown Phantoms:
The Gamblers found early season success over the Phantoms with two victories that date back to November. Green Bay had home ice advantage for both November games and won the first game 4-3, as well as the second game, 5-4. Green Bay is 6-2-1 on the year and has shown grit while implementing their skill set in the Eastern Conference division. The puck drops at 6:05pm.
