Gamblers' shooters quiet in Des Moines

The Green Bay Gamblers could only muster 16 shots in its 5-1 loss to the Des Moines Buccaneers on Saturday night.

The Bucs jumped out to a 2-0 lead with Zach Faremouth scoring the first of his two goals and Tyler Young adding a tally four minutes later. Faremouth scored his second goal in the second period while Alex Laferriere and Tanner Latsch found the back of the net before the Gamblers could get on the scoreboard. That occurred at the eleven-minute mark when Ryan Greene received help from Jackson Kunz and Alex Servagno for his third goal of the season. Matt Davis made 26 saves on 31 shots.

The Gamblers return home on Tuesday night when they face the Dubuque Fighting Saints. The game will air on 104.1 WRLU and stream worldwide at NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
