Another tough test for the Phoenix men

The Green Bay Phoenix mens’ basketball team will have another tough test ahead of them this week as they visit Marquette on Tuesday. Green Bay is coming off a scrappy double overtime loss to Eastern Illinois while Marquette is riding the high of beating the fourth ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Friday. Phoenix head coach Will Ryan will look for sophomore Amari Davis, senior PJ Pipes and senior Josh Jefferson to carry the load for Green Bay to earn their first win of the year. Davis is averaging 15.3 points per game (ppg) while Jefferson averages 14 ppg and Pipes averages 12.3 ppg. Marquette is looking for freshman Justin Lewis to continue his magic into Tuesday after hitting the game winning shot and dropping 18 points last Friday. Tip-off is at 8pm.
