Phoenix rollover to Wisconsin

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball team were over matched by the Wisconsin Badgers on Tuesday night, Wisconsin took the victory by a large margin, 82-42. Sophomore Amari Davis scored the first points of the game to give the Phoenix an early lead before Wisconsin went on a 11-0 scoring run led by Micah Potter. The first half ended with a commanding Badger lead, 34-12. The Badgers hit nearly half of their shots from the field while Green Bay hit only 15.4% in the first half. Second half play consisted of the Badgers outsourcing the Phoenix 48-30. Micah Potter led the way for the Badgers with 14 points, shooting 75% from the three-point line while Josh Jefferson was the only Green Bay player who scored in double-digits. Green Bay remains winless and moves to 0-2 on the season while the fourth ranked Badgers move to 3-0 on the season.
