The Green Bay Gamblers have one less game to worry about this week after having their matchup against the Waterloo Blackhawks get canceled on Tuesday.
The United States Hockey League announced the cancellations of Saturday's game along with the Blackhawks' matchups on November 20th and 25th against the Lincoln Stars, November 21st against the Des Moines Buccanneers, and November 26th against the Dubuque Fighting Saints. The release from the league also stated that the Stars also had to cancel its November 28th meeting against the Tri-City Storm. The league cited that the minimum standards for its safety protocols not being met as the reason for the cancellations.
No make-up date has been set. The week's other two games against the Chicago Steel on Wednesday and Team USA on Friday will still go on as scheduled and will air on 104.1 WRLU and stream on NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
