The Green Bay Gamblers trade goal for goal in a heavily contested matchup in a return trip back home against the Chicago Steel.

Team captain Jesse Tucker tallied the first goal of the game and his first goal of the year to put Green Bay up 1-0 half-way through the first period. The Steel fired right back with a score of their own at the 13:07 minute mark bringing the match to a tie game. The Steel scored a goal within two minutes into the second period, putting Green Bay down 1-2. The Gamblers shot back with a second period score of their own by Camden Thiesing, assisted by Jake Schmaltz and Ryan Kirwan. Minutes after the Gamblers tied the game, the Steel hit a go ahead powerplay score making it 3-2 at the 7:35 minute mark. Ryan Greene scored at the beginning of the period to tie the game 3-3, the assist came from Damien Carfagna. 

After three-periods of play the Gamblers and Steel remained tied at 3-3 sending the game into overtime. The five minute overtime did not give ample time to either team. The match came down to a shootout that favored Chicago 4-3, giving the Gamblers back-to-back losses, both coming against the Steel.
