Badgers look to bounce back into Big Ten play

The Wisconsin Badgers will be playing football for the first time since October 23rd. That night was the first for Big Ten Football in 2020, it included an explosive performance by redshirt freshman Graham Mertz who had 5 passing touchdowns. Mertz is eligible to play according to the Big Ten’s requirement that states a player must sit 21 days after a positive test. Paul Chryst will have the final say on if Mertz will play and if he has had enough practice prior to Saturday. The Badgers have not played for consecutive weeks and have had turbulent practices throughout the time off, so there is an unknown of who is and isn't available for Saturday. The Michigan Wolverines are 1-2 following back-to-back losses against Michigan State and Indiana, sixth-year head coach Jim Harbaugh came into the season ranked No.15 in the Coaches Poll but have not lived up to the preseason ranking. Wisconsin plays in Ann Arbor, Michigan against the Wolverines on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
