Gamblers look forward to Youngstown on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers are looking to improve to 2-0 to start the season. Green Bay opened with a 4-2 win against the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the Resch Center on November 7th. The victory came with a slow start with Muskegon off to the races scoring two goals in the first period but was led back with Jackson Kunz (2 goals) at the helm. Head coach Pat Mikesch told NRSN during his weekly podcast that he was happy with how the team responded after being put in the early hole.

The Youngstown Phantoms are 1-0 as they are coming off a 5-3 win over Dubuque Fighting Saints. Mikesch expects this game to be more physical than what they dealt with against Muskegon.

This week Green Bay will square off against the Phantoms on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. and on Saturday for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. NEW Radio Sports Network will broadcast the game on 104.1 WRLU and on NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
