The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) have announced
forward Jesse Tucker as team captain. Gamblershockey.com counted 18 goals, 25 assists, and 43 total points for the Longlac, Ontario native who is entering his third year with the Gamblers.
Forward Jake Schmaltz and defenseman Mason Lohrei were named the assistant captains. Each were Boston Bruins (NHL) draft picks in the 2019 and 2020 draft. Lohrei led the USHL in assists and was second in scoring, which was good enough for 2nd Team All-USHL. Schmaltz, who is a University of North Dakota commit, participated in 47 games with the Gamblers tallied 13 goals and 19 assists. With team captains established, Green Bay looks forward to their 27th season in the USHL, as they host the Muskegon Lumberjacks on November 7th.
