Packers RB AJ Dillon tested positive

Green Bay Packers rookie running back AJ Dillon will be moved to the reserve/COVID-19 list in which he will not play Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers due to league protocols. This is the first positive test for a Packers player since August, Dillon entered the NFL’s concentrated protocol and will self-quarantine. The Packers issued this statement, “We will continue to work with the league on contact tracing as we follow the guidelines of intensive protocol. All player meetings will be conducted virtually today. Our focus continues to be on the health and safety of our players and community. We will continue to work closely with the NFL and medical professionals and follow their guidance.” The Packers rookie played 10 offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings, while uncertainty remains with Packers superstar running back Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams could be looking like the lone running back if Jones is not ready to go for Thursday Nights matchup.
