WIAA looks to nail down playoff football sites

The deadline is October 30th for area high schools to throw their hat into the ring to host a playoff football game.

Schools looking to serving as a shared or alternate site also need to make their intentions known by October 30th. The season is in its final two games of the regular season before a truncated playoffs slate begins. The schedule only allows for two levels of playoff action, which will be hosted on a regional basis. The season at the latest would end the weekend of November 19th and 20th. Southern Door and Luxemburg-Casco, the only two schools in Door and Kewaunee counties that played this fall, will have their spot verified on November 5th and potential play the following weekend.
