Depending on how they are seeded, the state's four Division 1 basketball programs could be playing their NCAA Tournament games close to home in 2025.

The NCAA added the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee to its list of First and Second Round host sites for the men's basketball tournament. The new arena was already set to host games in 2022. Marquette University will be the host school for the games.
