Brewers to upgrade retractable roof

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Milwaukee Brewers will be spending $1.8 million to upgrade the system that controls the retractable roof. The Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District board approved of the upgrade as the current system has reached its 20-year life span. The new system will also have a 20-year life span and will take about 18 months to install. The Brewers will also be spending $1.3 million to upgrade the fire detective system.
