The Door County United girls swim team will compete in the WIAA sectional meet Saturday, Nov. 7, at Ashwaubenon High School.

The team enters sectional competition following several strong performances at the Bay Conference meet.

Southern Door's Hazel Monfils earned first-team all-conference honors with a victory in the 200-yard individual medley. She also earned second-team honors with a runner-up finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Monfils joined Quinn Sperber, Shaeffer Rass, and Ashlyn Sixel in earning second-team all-conference honors in both the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay. Sixel also received honorable mention in the 200-yard freestyle.

Competition is scheduled for Saturday at Ashwaubenon High School, with the first races beginning at noon.
