Even a thick fog could not slow down the Sturgeon Bay soccer team's offense on Thursday night as they beat Roncalli 8-0 on U-102.1.

Joni Ismali started the scoring with a goal in the 8th minute, ahead of JJ Olson's tally in the 28th minute that made 2-0. The Jets' defense was able to hold serve for the rest of the half to help keep it a 2-0 lead at the break.

As the fog settled, so did the Clippers' offense as they rattled off six goals in the second half. Jaxzen Bleck provided much of the fireworks with a goal in the 44th minute and two more that were a part of a flurry of scoring that saw the Clippers score thrice in a blink of an eye.

Leading 6-0 following an own goal, Finn Stevenson (66') and Ismali (71') put the game on ice in the 72nd minute to help the Clippers clinch a regional title game berth. Stevenson, Ismali, Anderson Starr, and Cedar Tomberlin (2) all provided assists in the match.

The Clippers will suit up again Saturday evening for a third edition of the Door County Classic when they host Gibraltar/Sevastopol at 7 p.m. Bryan Mazur will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show.
