The Sturgeon Bay football team will say goodbye to the 2026 season on Friday, but not before battling Marinette on its home turf at Memorial Field on U-102.1.
The Clippers ran into a buzzsaw last Thursday against Wisconsin #1-ranked Bonduel, falling 69-0. Quinn Wesenberg threw just three passes, but they yielded two touchdowns to Jack Weier for 75 of his 83 passing yards in the Bears' win. The Clippers are looking for their first win since August 27th, when they beat Clintonville 24-6. They have been held to eight points or less in six of their previous seven losses, including three shutouts.
The Marines are marginally better on the record at 2-6, with a 27-6 win at Oconto Falls on October 2nd, their lone bright spot in their last five games. Kanon Maye leads the Marines with 458 yards rushing and 295 yards passing for the season.
Tim Kowols will have the call on U-102.1 and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m., with the pregame show followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.
