The Sturgeon Bay Clippers faced a tough challenge Thursday night, as they took on the undefeated Bonduel Bears in a Week 8 Packerland Conference matchup. Bonduel came away with a commanding 69–0 victory, keeping Sturgeon Bay off the scoreboard for the entire game.

Bonduel continued its outstanding season with another dominant performance, improving its record to 8–0. The Bears offense produced 69 points, while their defense prevented the Clippers from finding the end zone.  Quinn Wesenberg threw just three passes, but they yielded two touchdowns to Jack Weier for 75 of his 83 yards passing.

Despite the difficult result, the Clippers will have a chance to respond when they host Marinette on October 16. Tim Kowols will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show, followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.
