The Sturgeon Bay soccer team will hop back on the bus on Monday for a road Packerland Conference match against Peshtigo.

 

The Clippers are #8 in the Bound Wisconsin poll after a weekend split in Cedarburg, losing to Milwaukee Rufus King 3-2 on Friday before beating Menasha 8-0 on Saturday.

 

 

Head coach Jesus Mejia Jr. said it was a solid weekend for his club, admitting that the Clippers had "a hard time coping with their athleticism," specifically highlighting the play of their striker. He celebrated the team's bounceback performance on Saturday. "We moved the ball much better and had some incredible combination play," Mejia added. "Ashton Benzinger had an amazing game with 3 incredible goals." 

 

 

The Bulldogs are 1-4 on the season, with a 9-1 win at Kewaunee on September 10th serving as the lone bright spot.

 

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Bryan Mazur will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:15 p.m. with the pregame show.
