The Sturgeon Bay girls golf team took on a large field at Thursday's Marinette Invitational, taking 11th place overall.
The Clippers shot a 423 on the day, two strokes behind Fox Valley Lutheran for a top-10 finish.
Kennedy Hoernke led the Clippers with a score of 98, one of six golfers in the field to register that mark. Maggie Huempfner was nearby with a score of 101.
