The Sturgeon Bay cross country team competed in the Bob Burzynski Cross Country Invitational at Valders High School on Thursday night. Competing with 7 other schools, the Clippers were tasked with racing up Valders Hill, known as Big Bertha, and around the various turns and straightaways that make up the Valders course.
Delaney Skiba earned a medal with a 15th-place varsity time of 22:47, and Norbert Cross earned a 17th-place JV time of 26:14. Elliott Brown led the varsity boys team with a time of 20:49 to post a top 25 finish.
"This was definitely one of our more challenging courses, awesome job, Clippers!," head coach Morgan Kiedrowski said post-race.
