Clippers volleyball at home vs. Storm

The Sturgeon Bay volleyball team returns home for a Packerland Conference battle with Kewaunee Thursday evening.

 

The Clippers fell in three sets to state-ranked NEW Lutheran in their last match, 19-25, 23-25, and 13-25. Offensively, Audrey Harrington led the Clippers with nine kills on 22 attempts, highlighted by an impressive second set in which she put down five kills on nine swings while hitting .444. Reen Walker added four kills, while Izzy Schoeneman contributed five. Makenna Coyhis directed the offense with 21 assists. Defensively, Walker led Sturgeon Bay with six digs, while Harrington added five.

 

The Storm had to work for it in the opener, edging out a tight 25-23 first set against Mishicot on Tuesday before pulling away in the final two, winning 25-16 and 25-17 to close it out.
