On Friday night, the Sturgeon Bay cross country team competed in the Nightfall Classic meet in Neenah.
What makes this race unique is that it takes place at night with Christmas lights and glow sticks to lead the way.
With at least 48 schools from the state of Wisconsin participating, it’s the largest race we run each year. Some highlights are Rio Martinez coming in 27th with a season PR of 17:55 and Delaney Skiba coming in 23rd with a season PR of 20:54. We’re very proud of how the girls and boys teams performed tonight; there were many PRs for our runners.
