The Sturgeon Bay soccer team outshot Kiel 18-7, but it was the Raiders that made the most of their opportunities in a 4-3 loss for the Clippers.

Finn Stevenson opened the scoring in the match's first five minutes, but the Raiders responded with two goals of their own to take the lead. The Clippers got the lead back with two more goals to make the score 3-2. Even with the Raiders down a man, Clippers coach Jesus Mejia Jr. said his team could not handle their star forward, who ended up scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals. 

"Our backline struggled with balls over the top, and Kiel made it very difficult for us," Mejia said. "We had plenty of chances but couldn’t capitalize. Myself and the coaches will make sure we prepare the boys for a better result next game."

That next match comes on Thursday when they travel to Howard to face Providence Academy.
