Clippers, United battle under Clark Field lights on U-102.1

The Battle of Door County wil decide who advances to Saturday's likely matchup in Oshkosh to face top-seeded Lourdes Academy when Sturgeon Bay welcomes Door County United to open WIAA Soccer Regional play.

The Clippers are 3-2 in their last five matches, ending their regular season last Thursday with a 1-0 loss to Luxemburg-Casco on the road. Jericha Reynolds has rewritten the record books for Clippers freshmen, setting an all-time scoring record with 52 points (24 G, 4 A) while fellow underclassmen Makenna Coyhis and Barbara Alberti have complemented her with ten goals apiece.

It has been feast or famine for the United in their last five games winning three matches by shutouts over Kewaunee (2x) and Peshtigo while losing by shutouts against Providence Academy and St. Mary Catholic.

Bryan Mazur and Peter Kerwin will have the call on U-102.1 beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first touch at 7 p.m.
