Clippers Explode for 10 Goals in Win Over Vikings

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls soccer team delivered one of its strongest offensive performances of the season Tuesday night, rolling past Valders 10-2 in a nonconference matchup at Clark Field.

Seven different players scored for the Clippers, led by goals from Yarrow Goettleman, Miya Nell, Claire Quaderer, Megan Quaderer, Barbara Alberti, Makenna Coyhis and Jericha Reynolds.

The win adds to a strong spring campaign for Sturgeon Bay, which has continued to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Clippers have remained competitive throughout the year against both conference and nonconference opponents.

Sturgeon Bay’s offense controlled the pace early and never slowed down, consistently creating scoring opportunities against the Vikings defense.

The Clippers will return to action Thursday, when they host the Peshtigo Bulldogs in another home matchup.
