A second half goal proved to be the difference as the Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls soccer team improved to 11-5-3 on the season with a 2-1 win over Manitowoc Lutheran on Monday.
Miya Nell scored one of the two goals to lead the Clippers to the victory.
They return to work on Tuesday with a match against Valders. The Vikings are 1-9 on the season with a 3-1 victory on May 11th against Green Bay West the bright spot. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Clark Field.
