The Sturgeon Bay Clippers and the Algoma Wolves continue their march toward the WIAA Baseball postseason with a doubleheader on Friday.
The Clippers are in the tail end of a eight-game, eight-day stretch that will conclude Saturday with a doubleheader against Sevastopol. The Kewaunee Storm swept Sturgeon Bay in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Kewaunee High School, winning game one 12-2 before rolling in game two 13-3. Ethan Kratcha provided the offensive punch in game one, going 2-3 and an RBI while Siggy Hansen went 2-2 with two RBI in game two.
The Wolves' bats could not keep up with Reedsville's in a 14-4 drubbing on Monday, which was their last game. Cal DeMeuse had three hits while Braeden Leist and Charlie Prokash all pounded out two hits in the loss. Leist, Prokash, and Jonah Dahms recorded RBI.
Jacob Nate will have both ends of the doubleheader from Sturgeon Bay on U-102.1 beginning at 4:15 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the first pitch at 4:30 p.m.
