Tuesday was a rough day for Clipper softball, with double-digit blowouts in both games of a doubleheader against Peshtigo at home, dropping game one 14-0 and game two 15-0.
Peshtigo's pitching was dominant in both games and the Bulldogs did damage early in each contest before pulling away. Cameron Finger was especially sharp in game two, throwing four no-hit innings with 11 strikeouts. Cora Frangipane and Genevieve Austad had the only two hits for Sturgeon Bay on the day.
Sturgeon Bay heads to Kewaunee next Tuesday for a doubleheader.
