After splitting a doubleheader with Gibraltar/Washington Island on Friday, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers baseball team goes back to work on Monday with road matchup in Green Bay against NEW Lutheran.
After watching game one slip away for a 17-7 decision, the Clippers scored six runs in the sixth inning to beat the Vikings 13-11 for head coach Neal Henrigillis' 100th career managerial win. Drew Propsom delivered the game-winning double that drove in a pair of runs. Jack Higgibotham also had two RBI as he went 3-3, one of three Clippers to post a multi-hit game.
The Blazers enter the matchup 4-8 on the season, which includes being swept by Sevastopol on Friday 21-6 and 12-2.
First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
