The Sturgeon Bay boys varsity golf team took second place in the Packerland Conference meet at Idlewild Golf Club. The team shot a 184, falling just short of Kewaunee, which posted a 179.

 

The team was led by Noah Potier with a 44, and Ashton Benzinger, who carded a 45. Caleb Nielsen added a 46 to help the Clippers secure the podium finish.

 

Evan MacCaux (Kewaunee) topped the leaderboard with a 39, followed by a 42 from Henry Wehrenberg (Gibraltar) and 43s from Baylor Elliott (Kewaunee) and Marek O'Dean (Sevastopol). Cruz Anschutz led Southern Door with a score of 46.

The Clippers have two invites Friday and Monday before returning to conference play at Cherry Hills in Sturgeon Bay next Tuesday.
