A night removed from a tough shutout loss to Sheboygan Lutheran, Sturgeon Bay girls soccer gives it right back to Roncalli grabbing The Clippers own 5-0 shutout win.
This was the Clippers first win of the young season after postponements from a cold, wet spring pushed this game later into the month.
Freshman Jericha Reynolds had a breakout game, scoring 4 goals to lead the Clippers to a 4-0 halftime lead. Senior Yarrow Goettelman tallied the final goal, with her first goal of the season. Freshman Makenna Coyhis had the lone assist for Sturgeon Bay.
The Clippers had a strong showing defensively, not allowing any shots on the evening.
The Clippers moved to 1-1 on the early season and will travel to face Green Bay West on Monday.
