The Clipper Clays, the Sturgeon Bay grades 6-12 trap team, is preparing to host a whitefish fry fundraiser on Friday, April 17.
In an interview, head coach Matt Propsom shared details about the event. This marks the sixth year for the Clipper Clays, and all money raised supports the team, including targets, travel, supplies and course improvements. Chicken tenders will also be available as an alternative to fish. The fish was donated by Baileys Harbor Fish Company.
Propsom expressed pride in the event’s ability to bring the community together, saying, “It’s an honor — it’s something you can be very proud of.”
The team is also planning a brat fry at Marchant’s this summer, along with hosting several tournaments. This weekend, they will host a tournament featuring more than 150 athletes from across Wisconsin.

Doors will be open from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
